Installation Instructions.

This 4-pin, PC mount, 1/4" phone jack replaces broken input jacks in many Fender amps from 1988 to 1999 including the Hot-Rod Deville, Hot-Rod Deluxe, Blues Deville, Blues Deluxe, Pro Junior, Sidekick, and BXR100 amplifiers.

Other amp manufacturers, like Hartke, also use this jack.  It comes with the chrome nut and washer shown in the photo.

This jack is mono, using 2 of the 4 pins.  The other 2 pins are an isolated break circuit (a normally closed SPST switch).  It's equivalent to Fender part #099-0912-000.

NOTE:

Circa 1999, Fender began using a different style of input jack.  Later model Hot-Rod and Blues amps use the alternate jack, which is next on this page.

You can remove the rear panel from your amp to see which jack you need.
