If you see "Drive Not Ready" when you press your DISK button, there's a good chance you need a new drive belt.

<< Look at this new drive belt inside an old, stretched out one.

Replacing the disk drive belt requires no soldering but you must be handy with a screwdriver.

Buyer Comments

• MORE ON LOADING FROM DISK:

"Load ALL" must have two files on the disk with the same name, one with the extension ".PCG" (Programs, Combinations, and Global), and one with the extension ".SNG" (Song).

A "No File" error might mean a missing Song file.  Use "Load 1 CMBI" if the disk is missing a Song file.

Also check our FAQ page "Floppy Disks in Music Keyboards" explaining how to use Windows to format a new, HD floppy as an older 720K, double-density disk that's compatible with Korg keyboards.
