The First Keyboard
Can you spot the Farfisa Compact organ in this photo? I think it's the first busted keyboard to cross my path.
This one belonged to an employee who later worked as keyboard tech on Bob Dylan and Santana tours.
Soon, synthesizers became wildly popular and we were poised to take on that service.
Here you see two ARP 2600s.
To accommodate the expanding electronic music market, we optimized the amp shop to service amps.
It's important to have enough space to leave things unfinished.
And we began work on a keyboard shop using bigger service bays.
