are now removed.

The rubber key bushings are dried out, cracked, and crumbling off the key
stops.
A few deteriorated bushings had been replaced by pieces of spaghetti tubing.

Here you see the exposed key stops after scraping off the old bushings.

The stops aren't all level, especially in the heavy traffic area.
We'll adjust the stop heights after the keys are reinstalled.

Here's the cleaned-up keybed with newly installed rubber bushings.
The bushings were
lubricated with Dow Corning® #7 silicone release compound.

The "V" shaped fins of each bushing go down, as shown here, and the wider
trough goes up.
