This Moog Rogue's broken power jack resides on its main PC Board, which
also
holds all the synth's control pots and switches.
So, first remove the knobs from all the rotary and slide pots. The
knobs are friction-fit and should simply pull off.

If a knob is tight, and you're lucky enough to have a knob removal tool, use the tool
(right).
Otherwise, use some string, a T-shirt hem, or a table fork to get
under the knob and pull or pry it upward, working your way around the knob.

To open up the Rogue, you must remove several screws.
On the front of the keyboard, each cheek block has one screw.
The right cheek screw is shown here.
Start by removing the two cheek block screws.
|
|
Next, on the Rogue's bottom, there are four screws to remove—two
along each side panel.
One side panel screw can be seen here.
|
|
Finally, remove the screw at the bottom of the rear panel, shown here.
The other screw in this photo helps attach the main circuit board and will
be taken out later.
Now you can separate the electronics assembly from the bottom keyboard
assembly.
A 5-wire cable connects the top and bottom assemblies.

Before you can get at the main circuit board, you must detach the
jacks circuit board from the Rogue's rear panel (right).
Remove the four jack nuts and their flat washers.
Also remove the inside lock washers.
Replace the washers before
reinstalling the jacks.
