This JMI VOX Continental was missing three drawbar tips:  the 4' tip, the Sine (~) tip, and the Sawtooth (Μ) tip.

The tip setscrews were still in the drawbar arms, however.

We had no tips for UK-made Continentals but we were able to modify the replicas for Italian-made Continentals shown here.

Although they only come in black or white and have no rank markings, they restore important utility to the drawbars.

To modify a tip for our JMI Continental, we lengthened the channel in the bottom of the tip to fit the JMI drawbar arm.

The JMI arm has more length between its end and the setscrew than does the Italian arm.  (See photo.)

We used a Dremel rotary tool to rout away the unwanted plastic.

Our work on this vintage Vox Continental organ is now complete.

We installed the white 4' tip and the black Sine and Sawtooth tips.  Earlier, we installed the black Vibrato switch.
