These power cords are sometimes modified to serve
as a cheater cord for some vintage VOX Continental and Jaguar model
organs.
The modification requires spreading apart the two holes in the appliance plug
by cutting a slit in the trough between the two holes (see photos).
The female electrical contacts within the holes of this plug
fit pin diameters of 2.4 mm. Be sure to measure the pins on your organ's AC
input receptacle. The pins must be approximately 2.4 mm
in diameter.
The following video shows how, after slitting the
trough with a utility knife, the plug's holes can be spread apart and individually
fitted onto
the power pins of a VOX V-303E Super Continental organ.
