Keyboard Contacts

The Korg Karma is a specialized member of the Korg Triton family, based on the Triton's synth engines and effects.

What makes the Karma special is KARMA, the Kay Algorithmic Realtime Music Architecture software developed by Steven Kay, Karma-Lab LLC.

KARMA is way to generate complex phrases and techno grooves from the Triton system and morph them in real time using the keyboard's knobs, switches and MIDI commands.

This particular Karma came into the shop with several keys that didn't sound or else sounded too loudly, classic symptoms of dirty key contacts.

Our mission:  take the unit apart and clean the suspect key contacts [left].
